Northcote Primary School is governed by five elected parents, an elected staff member and the Principal. The current Board encompasses a variety of skills and expertise to guide the success of the school. The Board can be contacted at [email protected]

The Board meets once or twice a term and meetings are open to the public.

The Board is responsible for the school’s overall governance, strategic direction, and ensuring the school is well placed to support positive outcomes for all students. The Board focuses on matters such as student achievement, school policies, finance, property and long-term planning.

The Principal is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the school, including leadership and recruitment of staff, teaching and learning programmes and operational decisions.

The Board and Principal work closely together, with the Board providing governance and the Principal leading the school’s daily operations.
